Les petits meurtres d’Agatha Christie (France 2

In Les petits meurtres d’Agatha Christie we head to France during the 1930’s where Superintendent Larosière and his assistant Inspector Lampion solve a collection of murders. Whilst in later episodes the action moves forward to the 1950’s where new leads Commissioner Laurence and reporter Alice Avril again solve various murders.

The series is based on various Agatha Christie novels but all quite freely adapted, lots of Miss Marple and Poirot novels are turned into cases for Larosière and Laurence. All very glossy with a Midsomer Murders vibe.

In English the series is known as Agatha Christie’s Criminal Games. The episodes and air on an infrequent basis rather than as a single run of episodes.
