Love Story (BBC One 1979-1983, Robin Ellis, Jan Francis)

Love Story was an anthology series of romance based stories, some original and some based on well known novels. Each story generally ran to four episodes of 30 minutes apart from Fair Stood The Wind For France which was 4×55 minutes.

Writers included the likes of Robin Chapman, Ted Whitehead, Julian Bond and Paula Milne. The casts were generally high profile and included prominent names such as Jan Francis, Robin Ellis, Judi Bowker, Del Henney, Lynn Farleigh, Tom Bell, David Beames, Cecile Paoli, Kate Nelligan, Isla Blair and Ray Winstone.

No relation to the ITV anthology series of the same name.
