Marvel’s Daredevil (Netflix 2015, Charlie Cox, Rosario Dawson)

Netflix presents the first of it’s Marvel series with the arrival of Dardevil which sees blind lawyer Matt Burdock using the heightened senses he has accumulated over the years to fight crime on the Streets of New York City especially when nighttime comes and evens up the playing field somewhat.

In the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe the series takes place after the events of the first Avengers film. There is also a bit of an Agents of SHIELD tie in with the character of Carl ‘Crusher’ Creel being mentioned in Daredevil.

Like all Netflix shows all episodes are made available for viewing at the same time. The character was created for Marvel by Stan Lee and Bill Everett and as previously seen on the big screen in a so-so production with Ben Affleck in the lead role.

Daredevil was one of four Marvel shows Netflix that premiered in 2015 the others being Jessica Jones, Luke Cahe and Iron Fist with all four characters then teaming up in a series called The Defenders.
