My Man Joe (ITV Sitcom, Joe Baker, Francis Matthews)

In ITV sitcom My Man Joe penniless aristocrat Lord Peregrine Hansford (Francis Matthews) hires the disaster prone Joe (Joe Baker) to try and regain his fortune.

Baker was a popular comedian of the 1960’s. By the time of My Man Joe he had already had starring roles in a couple of other series including the self titled Joe Baker Show and Baker’s Half Dozen. In the early seventies he moved to the US and became a reliable character player in TV and Film.
