Screen One (BBC-1 1989-1997)

Screen One Title

Screen One was an umbrella title for a series of shot on film productions. The productions had nothing in common other than being of generally high quality. The cream of British acting talent appeared and the writers and directors were all top notch too.

From 1985-1998 there was a long running series of single filmed dramas airing on BBC-2 under the banner Screen Two.
