Christy Giles, a 24-year-old model, and her friend, Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, a 26-year-old, went to a Los Angeles warehouse party. They never communicated again with their families after leaving. After that, masked males allegedly dumped them off at two different hospitals, according to investigators. They found Giles dead and Cabrales-Arzola barely alive. Is it possible that the men knew more than just being good Samaritans? Author Jonathan Vigliotti and 48 HOURS discuss the events of that evening and the search for answers.

Christy Giles’s husband, Jan Cilliers, as well as Cabrales-Arzola’s parents and friends, are interviewed on the show for the first time on primetime television.

“They met a man who passed himself off as a big shot Hollywood producer,” Cilliers tells 48 HOURS. “And that just clearly wasn’t the case.”
