BBC New Comedy Awards: Episode 6 (S2022EP6 BBC Three Tuesday 1 November 2022)

The Box at FarGo Village in Coventry will serve as the location for the sixth heat of the competition. This hip, repurposed industrial space is right in the heart of the city and will serve as our very own comedy club for just one night.
Josh Pugh, a native of Coventry, will host the event. The night begins with some local banter from the multi-award-winning comedian before the five acts take the stage. Brummie comic Kai Samra and Darren Harriott, representing the Black Country, are evaluating their performances. Fern Brady, the head judge, completes the group.

Only one performer will advance to the St David’s Hall in Cardiff’s grand final, so choosing a winner from Joe Bingham, Rhiannon Shaw, Denis Len, Julia Stenton, and Joshua Bethania will not be simple. Each of their sets are packed with jokes and cutting-edge material.
