Are the Stars Out Tonight?: Abby (Meghan Ory, “Once Upon a Time”) and Mick (Treat Williams, “(“Blue Bloods,” Hair”) are thrown for a loop when Evan Kincaid (Robert Buckley, “iZombie” comes to town in “Are the Stars Out Tonight?,” an all-new episode of “Chesapeake Shores,” premiering Sunday, August 29 (8 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel. Buckley, Ory, Williams, Barbara Niven (“The Crossword Mysteries”), Laci J. Mailey (“Falling Skies”), Emilie Ullerup (“Sanctuary”), Brendan Penny (“BH90210”) and Andrew Francis (“Christmas She Wrote”) star.
Abby (Ory) and Mick (Williams) meet eccentric billionaire client Evan Kincaid (Buckley) and must convince him not to pull out of a hotel project due to potential bad news. Thomas (Gregory Harrison, “General Hospital,” “One Tree Hill”) returns to the area, in search of a new property. Luke (Stephen Huszar, “Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas”) impresses Mick and lands a new job at The Bridge. After buying what she thinks is a potentially valuable painting for only eight dollars, Megan (Niven) attempts to track down the notoriously reclusive, local artist to confirm it is one of his works. Kevin (Penny) becomes concerned about Chief Gahagan (Peter Bryant, “Riverdale”) when a few memory lapses might be a sign of something more. As the law firm shows they value Connor (Francis) by giving him a bigger role in a high-profile case, he begins to suspect they there’s an ulterior motive behind their interest in him.

The multi-generational family drama of Chesapeake Shores follows Abby O'Brien, a high-powered career woman, divorcee and mother to twin daughters, who makes a trip from New York City to her hometown of Chesapeake Shores. Her visit home brings Abby face to face with her past, including her high school sweetheart Trace, her uncompromising father Mick and her esteemed grandmother Nell. Abby realizes the toll her career has taken on her ability to be a hands-on mother to her daughters, and considers a permanent move to Chesapeake Shores.
