What is this episode about

Remi goes to Mercedes’ motel room to confront her about her negligence towards their band, Lyrik, after Remi’s rejection. He clearly expresses that he is in love with Bree, and if Mercedes decides to return, it must be for the band’s sake and not because of any romantic feelings he may have had. When Mercedes doesn’t show up, Bree directly asks Remi why she hasn’t come. Remi avoids giving a direct answer and heads to the studio. Surprisingly, Mercedes shows up at the studio to play, much to Remi’s surprise. Unbeknownst to Remi, Bree decides to visit the studio and overhears their conversation about their past involvement (or lack thereof).

Tegan and Andrew spend time together, along with a social worker, and Tegan expresses her desire to talk to Justin and Leah alone. She brings up the idea of Andrew living with her, but Justin is resistant, citing the challenges of taking care of Andrew and Tegan’s young age. Tensions rise, but they agree that Andrew’s opinion should be considered in making decisions about his future.

When Justin approaches Andrew to discuss the situation, Andrew suggests an alternative – staying with Justin and Leah, who will support him. Justin emphasizes that the decision is ultimately up to Andrew, but Andrew appears conflicted. During a dinner with Justin, Leah, and Tegan, Justin prompts Andrew to share what he mentioned on the way home. Andrew turns to Tegan and apologizes, stating that he has decided to stay with Justin and Leah. Tegan struggles to conceal her disappointment. Justin is thrilled with the decision, but when Theo finds Andrew awake late at night due to insomnia, Andrew confesses that he lied – he actually wants to live with his sister after all.

Set in a fictional coastal town in New South Wales, Home and Away follows the residents of Summer Bay as they go about their daily lives.
