What is this episode about

After discovering her adoption papers and a newspaper clipping that sparked vague memories of her life before adoption, Esther uproots her life and gives up everything to find her biological family and discover who she is.

Bezhig Little Bird, a young girl from the Long Pine Reserve in Saskatchewan, is taken from her home and adopted by a Jewish family in Montréal, where she is renamed Esther Rosenblum. Bezhig, now in her twenties, is desperate to reconnect with the loved ones she hasn’t seen in years.
