What is this episode about

Camila’s (Alexa PenaVega) hectic work schedule at the dental clinic where she works has left her with little energy and time for anything else. Camila’s mom, Sherri (Miller), works as a substitute teacher at the school, and she meets Javi (Carlos PenaVega), who offers to enroll her in a Spanish class he teaches on the side so she can honor her late father by learning his language.

Javi sparks Camila’s interest by helping her learn about her Mexican heritage, and he suggests that she celebrate her upcoming 30th birthday with a “double quinceaera” to pay tribute to both her Mexican and Hispanic roots. She’s not usually one for extravagant celebrations, but she decides to go for it this time.
