Sex for Work: The True Cost of Our Tea In terms of tea, PG Tips and Lipton are two of the most well-known names in the industry. A recent Panorama undercover investigation exposed alleged sexual coercion of plantation workers by their male supervisors in exchange for employment.

Two British corporations, Unilever and James Finlay & Co., have owned the same plantations for decades and are the primary targets of the investigation because they are responsible for the production of half of the tea consumed in the UK.

Dozens of women have come forward to reporter Tom Odula alleging sexual assault or harassment, and undercover video shows how a young woman was specifically targeted for sex during a job interview.
