What can we expect from this episode
Monday’s Q&A is coming live from Sydney.
As tensions rise in the Middle East, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will travel to Washington, DC. Global warming, nuclear submarines, and international security will all be discussed. However, the rising cost of living is the main concern for many Australians.
As the conflict escalates, world leaders have been meeting with the Israeli prime minister in Tel Aviv. During one such meeting, Vice President Joe Biden urged Israel not to be “consumed” by its rage in responding to the attack by Hamas and argued for billions more in aid to Israel and Ukraine. As this “human catastrophe” continues, the United Nations has demanded a halt to the fighting. How will the international community react to this crisis?
Panellists:
Assistant Defence Minister Matt Thistlethwaite,
Leader of the Australian Greens Adam Bandt,
Nationals Member for Hinkler Keith Pitt
GetUp CEO Larissa Baldwin-Roberts
and Middle East Analyst Rodger Shanahan.
Q&A puts punters, pollies and pundits together in the studio to thrash out the hot issues of the week. It’s about democracy in action – the audience gets to ask the questions.
