Significant Others Episode (ABC TV Sunday 23 October 2022)

In episode 2 of Significant Others Hanna (Zo Steiner) continues to believe that her mother made the enigmatic call to the residence. The family fights the agony of ignorance when they learn that the police anticipate finding a body soon.

Den (Kenneth Moraleda) runs away to the dance studio, where he feels safe, but soon realises that pushing himself physically and trying to ignore his pain are not sustainable.

Staying inside the house is intolerable for Claire (Alison Bell). She establishes contact with Ali (Faysal Bazzi), the builder who arrived to make sure the construction site is secure.

With Wayne, Ursula (Rachael Blake) visits Sarah’s place of business (Todd McKenney). When Sarah’s coworker drops a bombshell, Ursula is forced to consider her own role in the suffering of her missing sister.

Ciaran (Gulliver McGrath) is drawn back to school in the meantime but finds himself gazing inward at his previous life. Another example of the unexpected benefit of his loss is when some popular kids take him under their wing.

Ursula invites the family to a prayer service with the parish priest because she can’t get rid of her Catholic guilt. She is certain that Sarah’s suicide was caused by a secret that Claire shared with Sarah. They might have been able to save Sarah’s life if it weren’t for Claire. However, Ursula misjudged, and Claire obviously knows more.
