The Great Pottery Throw Down: Gluggle Jug and Blindfold Challenge (Channel 4 Sunday 14 January 2024)
Channel 4’s popular series “The Great Pottery Throw Down” is back with its second episode of Season 7, titled “Gluggle Jug and Blindfold Challenge.” The episode is scheduled to air on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 7:45 pm.
Hosted by Siobhán McSweeney, the show welcomes Britain’s best home potters to the pottery as they compete for the title of champion. In this second week of the competition, the 11 remaining potters face two exciting challenges.
Firstly, they will attempt their own unique take on the popular gluggle jug. Known for its distinctive gurgling sound when poured, the gluggle jug is a beloved item in pottery. The potters must showcase their creativity and skill in crafting their own versions of this iconic piece.
But that’s not all! The contestants will also face a surprise second challenge – creating pottery while blindfolded. This twist adds an extra layer of difficulty as they rely solely on their sense of touch and intuition to shape their creations.
Judges Rich Miller and Keith Brymer Jones have the challenging task of evaluating the potters’ work and determining who deserves the coveted title of potter of the week. At the same time, one unlucky contestant will have to pack up their pottery tools and bid farewell as they are eliminated from the competition.
Don’t miss out on all the excitement and creativity in “The Great Pottery Throw Down” on Channel 4 on Sunday, January 14th at 7:45 pm. Tune in to see which potter impresses with their gluggle jug and who manages to overcome the blindfold challenge.
