The Journey With Andrea Bocelli Australian Premiere (Paramount+ Tuesday 14 March 2023)

The Journey With Andrea Bocelli, which consists of three episodes and a 90-minute special, follows Bocelli as he rides across Italy along the Via Francigena in search of the simple pleasures of life.

Throughout Bocelli’s religious journey along the ancient road, viewers are immersed in the series’ central themes of harmony, purpose, facing fear, hope, restoration, and interpersonal connections through explorations of significant historical sites.

Bocelli travels from St. Peter’s Basilica through the Tuscan countryside, the medieval castle of Monteriggioni, and finally back to his hometown of Lajatico in each episode, which has a distinct Italian setting.

Along the way, Bocelli talks to his loved ones about life’s biggest questions and collaborates with a wide range of musicians, such as 2Cellos, 40 Fingers, Beatrice Venezi, Clara Barbier Serrano (Andrea Bocelli Foundation Scholarship Winner), Katherine Jenkins, Matteo Bocelli, Michael W. Smith, Ramin Bahrami, Tauren Wells, TAYA, and Tori Kelly.

The 90-minute special features highlights from Bocelli’s and his musical colleagues’ journey through the Via Francigena as well as every performance from the series.

TBN, Impact Productions, and Cineroma collaborated to develop The Journey With Andrea Bocelli. Matt and Laurie Crouch, Andrea and Veronica Bocelli, Gaetano Morbiolo, and Paolo Sodi are the series’ executive producers.

Andrea Bocelli has been delighting audiences for more than 20 years, selling approximately 90 million recordings worldwide. He is one of the most recognizable voices in the industry and is adored by fans all over the world.

Bocelli has performed at the Olympics, the World Cup, and Global Citizen, among other major events, to sold-out crowds and record-breaking live streaming. A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a Golden Globe, seven Classical BRIT Awards, and seven World Music Awards have all been bestowed upon him.
