Carry On Abroad (Rank 1972, Sid James, Barbara Windsor)
One of the later films in the series, directed as ever by Gerald Thomas, Carry On Abroad boasts all the usual suspects, this time on an exotic holiday in the Spanish resort of Elsbels. Sid James plays randy pub landlord Vic Flange, Barbara Windsor is, of course, the bikini-clad Sadie Tomkins, and Kenneth Connor and June Whitfield are the repressed married couple Stanley and Evelyn Blunt.
Kenneth Williams is the tour rep Stuart Farquhar while Bernard Bresslaw is the slightly too-worldly monk Brother Bernard. Innuendos, misunderstandings and as much female flesh as a PG rating would allow are also on parade in one of the better Carry On… films.
