Race Across the World, 24 April 2024, BBC One, “Series 4 Episode 3”
In the latest episode of BBC’s Race Across the World, the five intrepid duos continue their arduous journey, this time navigating through Vietnam and Cambodia. With the competition intensifying, the team in last place faces elimination as they race over 2,000 km to reach Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.
The teams are faced with a strategic dilemma: opt for the more popular tourist route along the Vietnamese coast or take a risk by venturing off the beaten path and entering Cambodia from the north. Every decision counts as they push themselves to their physical and emotional limits.
The mother-daughter duos, Brydie and Sharon, and Eugenie and Isabel; best friends Alfie and Owen; married couple Stephen and Viv; and brother and sister Betty and James, all leave their modern conveniences behind, relying only on their wits, limited funds, and the kindness of strangers.
With a cash prize of £20,000 on the line, the race is on, and only one team can emerge victorious.
Race Across the World airs Wednesday 24 April 2024, at 9:00 PM on BBC One.
