On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, Sherri Shepherd offers her hilarious take on the latest headlines. Actress Carrie Preston, known for her roles in The Good Wife and True Blood, joins Sherri to discuss her new show, Elsbeth, which has just been renewed for a second season. Carrie Preston, an American actress, director, and producer, is set to join Sherri to discuss her new show, Elsbeth. Preston is best known for her roles as Arlene Fowler in the HBO fantasy drama True Blood and as Elsbeth Tascioni in The Good Wife, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. Preston has also appeared in Person of Interest, Crowded, Claws, and the film My Best Friend’s Wedding. She is married to actor Michael Emerson, whom she met while performing in a production of Hamlet.

Mother-daughter duo Rosanna and Jenna Scotto will be joining Sherri to mix up some recipes from their New York City restaurant, Fresco by Scotto. Rosanna Scotto is a well-known news anchor and co-host of Good Day New York on Fox 5 NY. She has been a member of the WNYW-Fox 5 News family since 1986 and has won four Emmys for her work as an anchor. Scotto is also a co-owner of Fresco by Scotto, a popular restaurant frequented by celebrities and politicians.

Sally Colón-Petree, an award-winning Puerto Rican filmmaker, will be on the show to discuss the digital release of the documentary Women Like Us, which Sherri executive produced. The documentary follows three women on a journey across the United States and Kenya, engaging with powerful women leaders and confronting social injustices. Colón-Petree is also a transformation coach and the founder of Dream On Productions, which produced Women Like Us.
