Sight Unseen, May 8, 2024, The CW, “Lucas”

The crime drama series Sight Unseen returns to The CW with its sixth episode, “Lucas“, airing on Wednesday May 8, promising a suspenseful and intriguing installment. The episode centres on Tess Avery, a former homicide detective who is blind, and her partner, Sunny Patel, a remote seeing-eye guide and agoraphobe.

In “Lucas“, Tess’s brother, Lucas, unexpectedly shows up at her apartment in the middle of the night, claiming he needs a place to stay. Tess, portrayed by Dolly Lewis, quickly senses that something is amiss. Her instincts prove correct as she later uncovers a shocking secret with Jake at a crime scene, suggesting Lucas may be implicated in the murder of a famous painter.

As Tess grapples with her loyalty to the Homicide Division and her protective instincts towards her brother, she asks Sunny, played by Agam Darshi, to keep an eye on Lucas via a nanny cam. Meanwhile, Sunny invites Kye, played by Ennis Esmer, into her home, only for him to stumble upon a hidden part of her past.
