Intrigue (ABC 1966, Edward Judd, Caroline Mortimer)
In drama series Intrigue freelance management consultant Gavin Grant tackles various cases at the shadier end of the business world – everything from industrial espionage to headhunters.
Grant was very much a renaissance man and appreciated the finer things in life. He was partnered by Val Spencer.
Another strong Tony Williamson creation. The series only lasted for one run of 13 episodes but was solid grown up fare. Writers on the series included Brian Clemens, Robert Holmes and Williamson himself.
