Lord of Misrule (BBC-2 1996, Richard Wilson, Emily Mortimer)

Lord of Misrule was a comedy drama about Ex-Lord Chancellor, Bill Webster, who finds himself in his twilight years in severe financial trouble.

His solution is to threaten to sell the nations dirty laundry to the press. Suddenly his granddaughter’s boyfriend – a tabloid hack – and MI5 are in a race against time to pay him for his secrets.
