Australia’s Best Competition Competition Premieres Thursday 27 October on ABC TV Plus

You must compete with the best to be the best. Lewis Hobba and Michael Hing of triple j enthusiastically accept the challenge in Australia’s Best Competition Competition.

The comedy team, frustrated by their lack of success, decides to reverse the competition entry process and take on the role of competition judges.

Hence the competition, competition. You get it. The pair’s journey takes them across the nation and into Australia’s most oddball and unexpected locales.

From Turkish oil wrestling and an Eisteddfod to street drag racing and roller hockey, Hobba & Hing are on a mission to award Australia’s Best Competition to the event they believe is deserving.

The experience will haunt them for years and features semi-naked men, a broken limb, and both personal and professional embarrassment.

The epic grand finale of the hour-long television special will take place in front of a live studio audience, and the organiser, mayor, or local celebrity of the winning competition will receive the trophy of trophies for Australia’s Best Competition Competition.
