First Dates Ireland airs a new episode tonight Wednesday 22 March 2023 on E4.

Season 5 Premiere Singles from all across Ireland visit the First Dates restaurant in the Irish adaptation of the popular TV series to go on a “genuine” blind date. Mateo, the maître d’, Ethan, the barmaid, and Alice, the waitress, assist create an ambiance that is conducive to romance. Twin sisters Mary and Martina, both 45, go on the restaurant’s first-ever double-date, but despite being sisters, they don’t have the same taste in men. Will 45-year-old Sylvester and the dashing master stonemason David whet their appetites? Limerick native and animation major Eric, 24, is worried that his stammer will ruin his date with Ashley, a Donegal native, but it turns out that love is blind. And Barry-John, 24, a ladies’ man from south Dublin, finally meets his equal in the sassy Laois model Katarina, 25.
