A train conductor is injured in the face when a brick is thrown at his cab, breaking the window. The train was going 70 miles per hour when the driver, despite being injured, successfully brought it to a stop.

One train company has begun installing on-board technology to make trips safer for passengers and staff due to an increase in incidents like this. Laser imaging technology, similar to what NASA used to map the moon’s surface, is one of the new features being introduced.

Narrated by Rav Wilding, the show also examines a trial programme that provides forensic-marking sprays to female victims of domestic violence and stalking.
