When Lucinda risks her life to uncover the truth, she finds assistance in unlikely quarters. If George and Norma want to trust Lucinda, they’ll have to make that call.

Despite being a savvy and experienced physician, Dr. Lucinda Edwards (Niamh Algar) is introduced to us during a nightmare shift in which she is responsible for the death of Edith Owusu, a patient who overdosed on opioids. Edith’s father (Brian Bovell) is demanding an investigation into Lucinda’s actions on that fateful night despite the backing of her medical supervisor, Dr. Leo Harris (James Purefoy).
