Portugese Thriller Vanda Now Streaming on SBS On Demand

Portugese thriller Vanda is the story of a hairdresser facing financial difficulties during the 2008 financial crisis. She turns to a life of crime, robbing banks while wearing a blonde wig and wielding a toy gun.

Despite her criminal actions, Vanda becomes a folk hero, always keeping the public guessing about her next move and how long she can evade the police.

The first season of Vanda is available exclusively on SBS On Demand, and the show is presented in Portuguese with English subtitles.
