Songs of Praise: Sean Fletcher’s Faith Journey (S2022EP43 BBC One Sunday 30 October 2022)
Sean Fletcher’s Faith Journey: As he travels through south Wales and London, Sean Fletcher reflects on the people, places, and music that have influenced his Christian faith. To discuss the time he first learned about Christianity as a teenager, he meets up with one of his oldest friends. He then traces his journey from that early commitment, through periods of doubt and rejection, to rediscovering his faith in his twenties.
He travels to south Wales to see his mother-in-law Nesta, who is one of the most important figures in his family and his faith. And in London, he talks about the value of having the support of other Christians as you travel through life with his friend, comedian Sally Philips. Sean’s selection of hymns is based on what they have meant to him throughout his spiritual journey.
