What is this episode about

Ian Humphries, Harry Khwaja, and Jo Roberts, three antiques dealers, are currently in the south of France on a buying trip. Their home base is an old farmhouse in Provence, close to all the best flea markets in the region.

Once again, the three friends are competing to see who can make the most money by finding the most valuable hidden treasures at a market in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the Venice of Provence.

The first obstacle for the group is to settle on a product they are confident will be well-received by their current clientele and online audience. The backstory of two vintage prints from the fashion magazine La Mode has former artist Jo sold, but will they be popular with her clientele?

Ian, an antiquing purist, purchases a set of colourful majolica planters because he is sure they will sell quickly online.

Meanwhile, Harry, a collector of oddities, makes a significant purchase from one of the market’s upscale boutiques, shelling out thousands of dollars for a mysterious wooden figure and two smaller puppets. Every day, a different dealer has the opportunity to increase the pressure by giving the other dealers a difficult shopping brief in a limited amount of time and a language barrier.

It’s Harry’s turn to issue a challenge now, and he wants to know who can find the best animal-themed piece. Who will come out on top of our trio and make the most money with only one day to make a sale?
