Married at First Sight Australia 2023: “Meet The Grooms – Cameron”

Married at First Sight returned to Channel 9 for a tenth season on Monday 30 January at 7.30pm for what is sure to be another intense roller coaster season. It’s time to meet the brides and grooms who will walking blindly down the aisle. Cameron is 27 and from the NT. He is a personal trainer.
Australian roughneck Cameron grew up on a farm in Queensland, but he eventually made his way to Darwin to work as a carpenter for Indigenous communities in the outback of the Northern Territory.
Cam is low-key, cocky, and laid-back, but he has never had a girlfriend before, so participating in the MAFS experiment is a huge step out of his comfort zone. He’s hesitant to dive headfirst into a relationship with a total stranger, but he’s trusting the professionals to set him up with someone who can accept him despite his nomadic lifestyle.
Cam’s view on women and his relationship with them were profoundly affected by one tragic event. When he brought the girl he was starting to have real feelings for flowers at the hospital, she was already seeing another man. Cam left for a job “out bush,” far from civilization, in an attempt to heal his shattered heart, and the isolation has become a defining characteristic of his life.
