The BAFTA Television Awards honour the shows and creative talent that captured the hearts and minds of BAFTA’s television voting membership. Leading the nominations are The Crown with eight, Black Mirror: Demon 79 with seven, and Happy Valley, Slow Horses, and The Sixth Commandment with six each.
The awards will celebrate the extraordinary craft and creativity of the UK television industry, with categories recognising exceptional performances, writing, directing, and more. The awards also shine a spotlight on memorable TV moments, with the P&O Cruises Memorable Moment Award, the only BAFTA Television Award decided by a public vote. This year’s nominees for this category include moments from Derry Girls, Heartstopper, Platinum Jubilee: Party at the Palace, and Stranger Things.
The red carpet proceedings will be hosted by Clara Amfo and Michelle Visage, offering viewers an insider’s perspective on the glamour and excitement of the event. With a star-studded guest list, including the likes of Ant & Dec, Kate Winslet, Cillian Murphy, and David Tennant, the BAFTA Television Awards promise to be a highlight of the industry calendar.
