In the series premiere the UKTV Original series “Dream Car Fixers,” lifelong friends Sheldon Nichols and Peter Harriott showcase their expertise in finding and repairing classic cars to meet their clients’ specific requests and budgets. With a combined 80 years of experience in the motor trade, Sheldon and Peter have honed their skills in transforming vehicles into dream cars.
The episode, airing on Tuesday 5th March 2024 at 8.00pm on Yesterday follows Sheldon and Peter as they take on the challenge of fulfilling ex-Royal Navy aircraft-engineer Mark’s lifelong dream of owning a classic MGB Roadster. Mark is particularly drawn to the earlier models with their distinctive chrome bumpers and grille.
However, with a budget of just £8k, Sheldon and Peter face the task of finding innovative solutions to stretch Mark’s money far enough to include that elusive chrome feature. The stakes are high for the fixers; success means making a profit, while failure could result in significant losses.
