The latest episode of the UKTV Original series “Bangers & Cash” continues its exploration of classic vehicles. In this brand new installment, airing on Thursday 7th March at 8pm on Yesterday, we join Derek Mathewson and his sons Paul and Dave as they embark on their mission to find and auction off a diverse range of timeless automobiles.

In this episode Derek travels to North Yorkshire in search of a veteran 1904 Swift. These cars hold immense value due to their eligibility for participation in the renowned London to Brighton rally. As such, they are highly sought after by collectors and tend to command premium prices at auctions.

Next on the agenda is Bedfordshire, where Andrew, the proud owner of a Bedford HA van, has decided to part ways with his cherished vehicle. These vans were once a common sight among various utilities in Britain, including the Royal Mail, water boards, electricity companies, and even the Co-op. However, few have survived in as remarkable a condition as Andrew’s van. Its excellent state impresses Derek immensely and he anticipates that it will easily fetch a sum of ten thousand pounds or more.

Meanwhile, a pristine 1974 Toyota Corona finds itself a new home amidst the tranquil countryside of Ireland. This vintage Japanese car is in impeccable condition—a testament to its enduring appeal and meticulous care over the years.
