Evil Lives Here: Shadows of Death: The Bad Boys (Investigation Discovery Sunday February 4, 2024)
In an upcoming episode of the true crime series “Evil Lives Here: Shadows of Death,” viewers will be taken back to the year 1992 when a shocking murder took place. The episode, titled “The Bad Boys,” is set to air on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 10:00 PM.
The focus of this particular episode is the tragic and brutal killing of Harold Drury during a holdup. Harold worked as a clerk at an AM-PM convenience store in Phoenix, Arizona. On April 27, 1992, Chad Alan Lee entered the store with the intention of buying cigarettes. However, his visit quickly turned into a nightmare when he proceeded to shoot Harold multiple times in a cold-blooded act.
Chad didn’t stop there; he also took the cash drawer and cigarettes before fleeing from the scene with assistance from Scott Hunt. The motives behind this senseless act remained unknown until now.
Jennifer Drury, Harold’s daughter and our main subject for this episode, couldn’t shake off her suspicions about a cult’s involvement in her father’s murder. These doubts lead Jennifer down a path that explores deeper into her father’s case and what really happened on that fateful day.
It is revealed that Chad had previously been convicted for two other murders and had already received the death penalty. In relation to Harold Drury’s murder case specifically, Chad was charged with armed robbery and first-degree murder. He stood trial in 1994 where he was found guilty as charged.
Tune in to this gripping episode on Sunday, February 4th at 10:00 PM as “The Bad Boys” sheds light on Jennifer Drury’s journey for truth amidst tragedy.
