In the upcoming episode of the hit series “Jack Taylor,” titled “Headstone,” viewers will be taken on a thrilling journey as our protagonist, played by Iain Glen, faces an urgent and dangerous task. Set to air on Ovation on Saturday February 3, 2024 at 7:00 PM, this installment picks up where the previous episode, “Cross,” left off.

“Headstone” sees Jack Taylor in a somewhat softer light than before, although he retains his trademark toughness. The storyline also delves into the personal struggles faced by Kate (played by Siobhán O’Kelly), who has recently received a breast cancer diagnosis and is about to undergo surgery. Additionally, Darragh (played by Jack Monaghan), Kate’s cousin who returned from England, remains present in this episode, assisting Jack with his investigations whenever necessary.

While “Headstone” may not fit squarely into the mold of a traditional murder mystery, it still encapsulates elements of revenge and draws upon past cases that Jack Taylor has encountered throughout his career as an investigator. The plot takes unexpected turns along the way, ultimately building toward a climax set in a secondary school. Explosives are involved alongside intense shooting sequences that further escalate the stakes for our characters. As tensions rise and family secrets come to light, long-standing grudges fuel the suspense.
