Neighbours on 10 and Prime Video to Begin Production in April 2023
The iconic Australian drama, Neighbours, is set to begin filming a new chapter in Melbourne on Monday, April 17, 2023. As Australia’s longest running drama, the series has been a launch pad for many successful careers in the film and television industry. The cast and crew will return to Nunawading studios, including fan favourites Stefan Dennis, Jackie Woodburne, Alan Fletcher, Ryan Moloney, Annie Jones, Rebekah Elmaloglou, Georgie Stone, and Tim Kano.
Jason Herbison, Executive Producer of Neighbours, said, “It feels very real now. We’re busy writing the next chapter of Neighbours, bringing to life again the show’s much-loved characters as well as introducing new residents. It’s exciting to see the sets being prepped, ready to start filming on April 17 which will be a huge day for everyone involved.”
The revitalised series will continue to follow the lives, loves, and challenges of the residents of Ramsay Street and will air later this year. Neighbours will continue to be broadcast in Australia on Network 10, its home for over three decades. Network 10 will retain first-run rights in Australia, while episodes will be available ad-free on Prime Video in Australia seven days later.
