Netflix Give Rob Lowe Comedy “Unstable” Season 2 Renewal
Netflix has officially renewed the show “Unstable” for a second season. The announcement was made by Rob Lowe and John Owen Lowe, who expressed their excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to continue the series.
“Unstable” is created by Rob Lowe, John Owen Lowe, and Victor Fresco. For the second season, Andrew Gurland, known for his work on “Married” and “Platonic,” will join as the executive producer and showrunner. The executive producers for the show include Rob Lowe, John Owen Lowe, Andrew Gurland, and Sean Clements.
The returning cast for the second season includes Rob Lowe, John Owen Lowe, Sian Clifford, Rachel Marsh, Emma Ferreira, and Aaron Branch. Production for the eight-episode season is scheduled to begin in Los Angeles later this month.
“Unstable” revolves around the character Ellis Dragon, a biotech entrepreneur who is admired by many but is also emotionally unstable. His son, Jackson Dragon, is not. It may be an impossible task, but can Jackson rescue Ellis and his business, mend their broken relationship, and escape the shadow of his imposing father all at the same time?
