Stephen King’s Legendary “Salem’s Lot” Will Premiere on Max in 2024
New Line’s upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King’s legendary novel “Salem’s Lot” is set to premiere on Max in 2024. The highly-anticipated movie brings together the powerhouse producing teams behind horror franchises such as “The Conjuring” universe and the “IT” films. Gary Dauberman takes on the role of writer, director, and executive producer, joining forces with James Wan, Michael Clear, and Roy Lee for Atomic Monster and Vertigo, alongside Mark Wolper.
The story follows author Ben Mears as he returns to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book. However, he quickly discovers that his childhood home is under attack by a bloodthirsty vampire.
The cast includes Lewis Pullman as Ben Mears, Alfre Woodard as Dr. Cody, Makenzie Leigh as Susan Norton, Bill Camp as Matthew Burke, Spencer Treat Clark as Mike Ryerson, Pilou Asbæk as Straker, and John Benjamin Hickey as Father Callahan.
In addition to writing and directing duties, Gary Dauberman also serves as an executive producer for the film. He is joined by Michael Bederman, Andrew Childs from Vertigo Films, and Judson Scott from Atomic Monster in the list of executive producers.
Fans of Stephen King’s chilling storytelling can look forward to this highly-anticipated adaptation when it arrives on Max in 2024.
