“Supa Girlz,” The ALLBLK Docuseries Will Premiere Thursday, March 7
Get ready for an exciting new series coming exclusively to ALLBLK. Supa Girlz, a new docuseries, has just unveiled its trailer and is set to premiere on Thursday, March 7th.
The show takes us into the world of the Miami Northwestern “G Girls,” one of the most talented high school dance teams in the country. Led by their visionary director, Traci Young-Byron, this team has gained widespread recognition as a trend-setting viral sensation. Their journey reflects both their triumphs and challenges, mirroring the experiences of their neighborhood in Liberty City, Miami.
Supa Girlz offers viewers an intimate look into Traci’s life during one eventful school year. As she endeavors to assemble a brand-new group of dancers and replicate the past achievements of her teams, we witness her personal struggles along with those of her young dancers: Kiara Laster, Kevonni White, Jaida Sumlar, and Jayla Dorsett. Together, they create a powerful narrative that explores renewal and rebirth within one of America’s influential inner cities.
Trishtan Williams serves as both Director and Executive Producer for Supa Girlz. Joining them are Evan Rosenfeld, Matthew Goldberg, Brandon Carroll, Ryan Schiavo Alex Lieberman Gary Lieberman Tom Dunlap as Executive Producers and Jeremy David White as Co-executive Producer. Brett Dismuke Head of Content and Nikki Love SVP of Development; Original Production Scripted are serving as Executive Producers for ALLBLK.
