The Price is Right aired a special episode in honor of Earth Day on April 22, 2024. The episode, hosted by George Gray, featured exciting competitions and unique Earth-friendly prizes.

The first four contestants to step up and bid were John Jensen, 79-year-old Joyce Hedgpeth, Josué, and Kathleen Prince. Kathleen made a strategic $1 bid, securing her place in the first Showcase Showdown. In the “Cliffhangers” game, Josué took a tumble, falling just short of the target price with a guess of $1,330.

As the game progressed, Michelle Sinizen, Billie Hosiery, and Glen Edmond joined in on the fun. John showcased his luck in the “Pocket Change” game, winning a Hyundai Elantra Hybrid valued at $29,765. Kathleen continued her winning streak, correctly identifying the most expensive item, an ATV, in the “Most Expen$ive” game.

After a brief advertisement break, the show returned with Kathleen as the winner of the first Showcase Showdown. The next set of contestants included Linnea Nelson, Michelle, and Cody Miller. Michelle, a property manager, showcased her pricing skills in the “Clock Game,” winning an air purifier and conditioner. Cody made a $1 bid and played “Pass the Buck,” walking away with an additional $5,000.

As the episode built towards its climax, Joyce advanced to the Final Four, joining Kathleen, Michelle, and Billie in the second Showcase Showdown. Michelle emerged as the winner, setting the stage for an exciting finale.

The final showcase featured Michelle, who had accumulated a total of $41,305 in prizes. The episode concluded with a total of $102,235 in prizes awarded.
