“Toya & Reginae” New Reality Series for WE tv

Toya Johnson-Rushing and Reginae Carter, the ex-wife and daughter of hip hop legend Lil Wayne, respectively, will star in their own reality series Toya & Reginae for WE tv. The first episode will air this fall on WE tv and ALLBLK, WE tv’s sister streaming service.

One of Atlanta’s most compelling mother-daughter duos, Toya and Reginae, are chronicled in this show’s ups and downs. Reginae Carter and Toya Johnson-Rushing have been well-known for quite some time. Given how fabulously they present, and given that Reginae’s fame has continued to rise since her sweet sixteen party, every tweet, comment, or post they make is dissected on all the hottest blogs. What their followers see on social media, however, is only the tip of the iceberg. In each episode, viewers will get a glimpse into their personal lives and see how the cast members deal with the pressures of their exciting and demanding careers, as well as the romantic relationships they maintain with one another. Despite appearances to the contrary on social media, they are actually dealing with the ups and downs of a seemingly dysfunctional family and a life that is anything but predictable.
