In this one-off special, airing on Friday 27 October at 9.00pm on ITV, adventurer Bear Grylls takes unified world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua into the great outdoors.

Earlier this year, Anthony Joshua became a global superstar after his epic fight against boxing great Wladimir Klitschko. Anthony may have defeated one of boxing’s greatest champions, but does he have what it takes to survive two days in the wild with Bear Grylls?

The pair are dropped on one of the UK’s wildest and most iconic coastlines, and they experience all that mother nature has to offer. The duo camp out under the stars and Bear has plenty of surprises in store for the Olympian. As Bear takes Joshua out of the boxing ring and into the wilds for an adventure of a lifetime, the pair are both in for a surprising journey of discovery.

Stripped of the lifestyle he is used to in London, Anthony reveals a side of himself not usually seen.
