Danger Man (ITV Spy Drama, Patrick McGoohan)

Action adventure series Danger Man detailed the cases of suave loner intelligence agent John Drake (Patrick McGoohan). The final two episodes were made in colour and combined together and released on the international circuit as a movie.

Alternative working titles for the series included Lone Wolf and Secret Agent. It’s pretty much acknowledged that the character McGoohan plays here, John Drake, is really Number Six in his follow up series The Prisoner.

Writers included Brian Clemens, Ian Stuart Black, Ralph Smart, Robert Banks Stewart, Michael Pertwee, Wilfred Greatorex, David Weir, Philip Broadley and Malcolm Hulke,
