Piers Morgan’s Life Stories (ITV1 2009-)

Former newspaper editor turned TV presenter Piers Morgan mixes a little bit of the soft edge of Parkinson with the more clinical style of Pamela Stephenson’s Shrink Rap for this interview series.

Lots of big names have appeared allowing Morgan to probe and coax sometimes surprising revelations, its lifted above the norm a bit by the fact that not everyone who appears has something to promote.

Extended versions of the interviews were generally seen on ITV3 three days later on Tuesday evenings.

Guests have included the likes of Sharon Osborne, Richard Branson, Sheila Hancock, Richard Madeley, Cilla Black, Ronnie Corbett, Bruce Forsyth, Michael Windsor and Barbara Windsor.
