Cops v Cartels: One million Australians and counting use cocaine each year. The white powder is more expensive than gold, but buyers don’t seem to mind. Despite state and federal law enforcement agencies doing everything they can to stop cocaine from entering the country, the bosses of international drug cartels are reaping enormous riches. Most of the police force’s operations are conducted in secrecy. Sarah Abo investigates the efforts of the Australian Border Force to foil the plots of those trafficking tonnes of illegal drugs.

For Dad: The world’s best athletes understand that there is no glory without sacrifice. To reach the pinnacle of any sport, one must endure years of gruelling training and preparation. Kaylee McKeown, the gold medalist of Australia’s backstroke team, has suffered through more than just physical pain. Her father, Sholto, passed away three years ago, just before she was set to make her Olympic debut. Kaylee’s swimming career might have been doomed by the trauma of losing him. Instead, she accomplished an incredible feat. Sylvia Jeffreys of Nine explains how Kaylee was able to channel her grief into superhuman strength in an assignment for 60 Minutes.
