In episode four Cassie and Sunny make an important breakthrough in the case with the discovery of some unusual marks on the victim’s body. The plot thickens when further investigation into the marks reveals that they are consistent with known gangland torture methods.

Determined to get to the bottom of the mystery, Cassie and Sunny question Sir Phillip Cross (Trevor Eve), the government’s newly appointed entrepreneurial tsar, about his past, especially his involvement with a prominent East End crime family.

Meanwhile, Eric Slater (Tom Courtenay) celebrates his anniversary with his wife Claire as their party gets under way.
