What’s It About?:
Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is a handsome and brilliant lawyer who hates injustice of any kind. Something of a problem when you work in New York’s notorious Hell’s Kitchen. Despite being blind since childhood Matt has incredibly developed other senses. He decides to take to the streets at night wearing his Daredevil costume and trying his best to hand out his own kind of justice. Especially when it comes to the evil machinations of Vincent D’Onofrio.

Why you’ll love it!
Because it is easily one of the most successful adaptations of a Marvel comic we’ve yet seen. It’s dark, violent and complex and doesn’t make any concessions to the audience. It’s more thriller than superhero and does away almost completely with the lightness of tone that has been the previous Marvel trope. The ten episodes of the first season traverse the world of good and evil mixing in tense narrative with bone crunching action. A proper adult Marvel in fact.
