A Hauntingly Hilarious Evening with the Stars of GHOSTS at the Library of Congress April 9
The Library of Congress is set to welcome an eccentric ensemble cast on Tuesday, April 9th, as members of the CBS comedy GHOSTS’ star-studded lineup visit for a special event. The hit series, currently in its third season, will be showcased in an evening featuring a screening of a special episode, followed by a lively panel discussion with key cast members. Audience members will have the chance to engage with the actors as they share their experiences bringing these otherworldly characters to life.
GHOSTS is a delightful supernatural sitcom that follows a couple’s unexpected journey as new owners of Woodstone Mansion in upstate New York. What makes this grand old mansion unique is its resident ghostly population, each with their own distinct personalities and time periods. The show is a timely time capsule, transporting viewers across eras with a diverse and delightful cast of spectral characters.
Among them are Danielle Pinnock’s sassy Prohibition-era lounge singer, Alberta, and Richie Moriarty’s upbeat 1980s Scout Leader, Pete. Asher Grodman portrays the slick and humorous ’90s finance bro, Trevor, while Román Zaragoza takes on the role of a witty 16th-century Native American named Sasappis.
The talented Rebecca Wisocky completes the panel as Hetty, a society woman from the 19th century. The series is a delightful mix of comedy and nostalgia, with a dash of mystery, providing a refreshing twist on the traditional haunted house tale.
The event promises a fun and entertaining evening for fans, offering a unique opportunity to delve into the world of GHOSTS. With a fourth season renewal already announced, the series continues to delight audiences weekly on CBS and Paramount+, airing Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.
The Library of Congress event will also showcase an intriguing display of historical items curated for each ghostly character’s era, offering a unique twist to the traditional meet-and-greet.
For those eager to attend, the Library of Congress has made the experience even more enticing with free tickets available at loc.gov/events.
