AMC’s “Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire” Season 2 Teaser
During the premiere of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, AMC Networks treated viewers to a new teaser for the highly-anticipated second season of Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, starring Jacob Anderson. Alongside the teaser, AMC also shared a sneak peek clip featuring Anderson and Delainey Hayles.
The upcoming season will premiere on May 12, 2024, on AMC and AMC+.
Continuing where it left off, season two follows the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (played by Jacob Anderson) as he recounts his life story to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) in 2022. After the events in New Orleans in 1940, when Louis and Claudia (Delainey Hayles) conspired to kill Vampire Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid), Louis shares his adventures in Europe. His quest takes him to discover Old World Vampires and explore the Theatre Des Vampires in Paris alongside Claudia. It is during this time that Louis encounters Armand (Assad Zaman), a vampire who becomes pivotal to their lives. Their courtship and love affair have far-reaching consequences both in the past and future, as Molloy delves deeper into uncovering buried truths within these memories.
The cast of season two includes Jacob Anderson, Sam Reid, Assad Zaman, Delainey Hayles, Ben Daniels, and Eric Bogosian. Award-winning producer Mark Johnson serves as executive producer alongside creator Rolin Jones and Mark Taylor. Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice are also credited as executive producers.
Fans of Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire can look forward to an enthralling second season that explores further chapters from this rich vampire universe when it premieres on May 12th.
