Apple TV’s MANHUNT Will Premiere on March 15
Apple TV+ has released the trailer for its true crime limited series, “Manhunt,” starring Tobias Menzies and created by Monica Beletsky. The show will debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on March 15th, followed by new episodes every Friday until the finale on April 19th.
“Manhunt” is based on the bestselling book by James L. Swanson and tells the story of the hunt for John Wilkes Booth in the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. The series is described as a conspiracy thriller and aims to shed light on one of history’s most well-known but least understood crimes.
Alongside Menzies, the cast includes Anthony Boyle, Lovie Simone, Will Harrison, Brandon Flynn, Damian O’Hare, Glenn Morshower, Patton Oswalt, Matt Walsh, and Hamish Linklater.
Produced by Apple Studios in association with Lionsgate Television, POV Entertainment, Walden Media, 3 Arts Entertainment, Dovetale Productions, and Monarch Pictures, “Manhunt” is executive produced by Monica Beletsky, Carl Franklin (who also directs the first two episodes), Layne Eskridge, and Kate Barry.
Author James L. Swanson serves as an executive producer alongside Michael Rotenberg, Richard Abate, Frank Smith, and Naia Cucukov.
Fans can look forward to diving into this thrilling true crime series when “Manhunt” premieres on Apple TV+ on March 15th.
